Memorial Monument for a Colosed Elementary School

When the old elementary school closed its doors after 103 years, the town of Shin-Totsukawa-cho in Hokkaido restored it after a plan by Yoshihiko Iida and offered me to use it as an atelier and a museum. I created a memorial monument with a steel frame and 103 stones of the area representing the years. Operated by the Kazenobi Museum, the place is open to the public from May to October. There is a museum shop and a café, and admission is limited to 20 persons at a time, enabling visitors to spend a comfortable time. Workshops are also held from time to time.
