The white terra-cotta relief

The huge white terra-cotta relief that Igarashi has been working in Shigaraki is now complete. This artwork will be installed at the ‘kazenobi’ museum which is renovated from a closed elementary school building.

The museum will open to the public in Spring/early Summer, 2011, in Hokkaido, Japan.

Igarashi Alphabets

An American Apparel store on Main Street in Santa Monica has Igarashi alphabets on the large outdoor wall.

This mural artwork has been produced and designed by Iris Alonzo, a creative director of American Apparel, based on Igarashi’s design in the 1980s.
